Overview
Four days is enough to experience two of Tanzania's most famous places properly: the open plains of the Serengeti and the wildlife-rich floor of the Ngorongoro Crater.
You travel in a private 4x4 with a pop-up roof and an English-speaking driver-guide, with good chances of lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras and wildebeest along the way. It suits first-time safari travellers, honeymooners and families.

Itinerary information
Day 1: Arusha to the Serengeti
Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, with a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive in Seronera.
Day 2: Full day in the Serengeti
Full day of game drives, picnic lunch in the bush.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning game drive, then drive to the Ngorongoro rim for the night.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend to the crater floor for a morning game drive, lunch at the hippo pool, then drive back to Arusha or the airport.
