Overview
Nine days on the north or east coast, balanced between excursions and rest. You see Stone Town and Prison Island, cook Swahili food after a spice farm visit, sail Menai Bay on Safari Blue and walk among the red colobus monkeys in Jozani, with free days to enjoy the beach.
You stay on the north or east coast. Nungwi and Kendwa in the north are known for swimming at most states of the tide and for their sunsets, while Kiwengwa, Pwani Mchangani and Matemwe on the east coast have long white beaches close to Mnemba Atoll.

- Stone Town City Tour: Guided walk through the UNESCO-listed old town: the former slave market site, the market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort and the Palace Museum.
- Prison Island: About 30 minutes by boat from Stone Town to see the giant tortoises, with time to swim and snorkel.

Pickup at 08:00 for a day by dhow from Fumba with snorkeling, Kwale Island and a seafood meal.
