Overview
Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is the only national park on Zanzibar and home to the Zanzibar red colobus monkey, a species found nowhere else in the world. Your guide walks you in among them, where they feed and play in the trees close to the path.
From the forest you continue to the mangrove boardwalk, which winds over the water through the mangroves that protect this part of the coast. Part of the entrance fee supports conservation and the local communities around the forest.
