Nungwi Village and Dhow-Building Tour
Tour details
Overview
Nungwi, at the northern tip of Zanzibar, is more than a beach. A guided walk takes you past the market and into the yards where dhows are still built by hand, alongside women weaving baskets and through the village.
At the natural aquarium nearby you see sea turtles up close as part of a local conservation effort. Then there is time on the beach, where the water at Nungwi stays good for swimming at most states of the tide.
