Tumbatu Island Private Snorkeling
Tour details
Overview
Off the north-west tip of Zanzibar lie Tumbatu and Mwana wa Mwana, with a reef on their western side that sees far fewer boats than the busier spots near the main beaches.
Your private boat crew plans the trip around low tide so you snorkel right above the most colourful part of the reef. Expect plenty of tropical fish and, if you are lucky, a turtle resting on the coral. Fresh fruit and water are served between snorkeling stops.
